Approximately 10 million Americans are currently living with cancer. While undergoing chemotherapy, radiation and pharmaceutical treatments, the skin of cancer patients often becomes thinner, drier, and more sensitive, frequently resulting in additional discomfort beyond the primary disease itself. Here's a collection of hand-crafted all-natural products to combat that discomfort in healthy ways. We offer these gift sets out of a desire to bring a little comfort and peace to people who deserve a bright spot in the midst of their trials. There are no carcinogenic ingredients to contribute to the development of new cancers. Instead, there are natural components to soothe, moisturize and support healing of ravaged epidermis and stressed emotions. (Patients should be sure to talk with their doctors to make sure moisturizers are appropriate at their current stage of treatment, since some creams and ointments can affect targeting of radiation beams. Caregivers may recommend waiting until a later stage in treatment for use of some products.)

Our church started a project with the objective of expressing God's love and comfort to those who are battling cancer, a reminder that they are loved and treasured by the Creator of the universe. The project, begun by a wonderful lady who is personally a cancer survivor, is called "Help with Hope," and includes "care packages" full of items to make cancer treatments more bearable, based on her personal experiences and those of many other cancer patients she knows personally. We were grateful for the opportunity to include some of our products in these wonderful "goody bags." Before long, we started receiving requests from people who wanted to purchase our product sets for themselves or loved ones and acquaintances. We're pleased to know that our work can bring comfort to people who really need it, so we are now offering our "On-Care" kits. We've been told by a number of cancer patients who've enjoyed these gifts that they were the best gifts they'd received since beginning their treatment, much more useful than flowers, candy or balloons. Others have mentioned that our lip balm gives welcome relief for lips so dry that they've cracked open and bled. To facilitate shipping, we include a folded sheet of coordinating tissue paper in each bag, which is held closed by a removable paper sticker.
